Dixie’s Hope: My Racing Filly

This lovely thoroughbred filly is by turf champion and Breeder’s Cup winner Cozzene out of Konvincha. She is two years old and is currently in training. We expect her to begin her racing career this fall.
After being a horse racing fan all my life, I can’t tell you how fun and exciting it is to own a real thoroughbred. If you enjoy virtual horse racing and dream of owning your own racehorse, then a racing syndicate may be right for you. Joining a syndicate puts race horse ownership within the reach of even the most modest budget. I encourage anyone interested to contact Pocket Aces Racing at pocketacesracing.com. I did and am now part owner of this beautiful filly. I will update her progress as she develops and hopefully will be writing up her first race very soon. Stay tuned…

Hi guys,
I know this might be a bit off topic but seeing that a bunch of you own websites, where would the best place be to host. Someone recommended I use Blue Host for $6.95 a month which seems like a great deal. Anyone here on bestvirtualracing.com using them?
laubassuffzog,
Anything @$10 and under is a pretty good deal for a “do-it-yourself” website — if you have the time and skills to create the entire thing in a professional manner and maintain it, keeping it current with the latest web standards and cutting edge tools. Customization and administration alone are serious time commitments for the do-it-yourselfer, and that doesn’t even get into the actual “content” — which is quite time consuming all on its own.
This website is maintained by The AME Network family of services, which means that all back-end administration, maintenance and customization are provided by skilled professionals for just a few dollars more per month. The client is then free to focus on content, which is what most website owners really want to be doing!
