Dixie’s Hope to Start First Race 4/17

Written By: RB on April 14, 2010 Comment

The day has finally come! Dixie’s Hope, owned by Pocket Aces Racing Syndicate (of which I am part) will make her first start on Saturday, April 17 at Keeneland racetrack in Kentucky. The race is a $50,000 Maiden Special and  is fifth on the program. Post time is approximately 3:07pm EST.

Dixie's Hope (winter) The race will be carried live on television on the TVG cable channel. It will also be broadcast live online at keeneland.com.   She will break from the #5 spot in the gate. She’s a tall gray filly who will be hard to miss. Look for her to close from behind with a late run.

Many horses don’t win their first races, so beyond hoping, our real wish is that she runs well, gets within at least five lengths of the winner and comes home safe and sound. Good luck to all and we will see you around the track!
